Status: Principle of Reality
Priority: High
This reflection emerged after recognising that there is often an expectation that life must first become organised before meaningful action can begin.
Practical experience has demonstrated precisely the opposite.
A common illusion persists:
βWhen I have more time, I shall do it.β
βWhen I have more money, I shall begin.β
βWhen I am prepared, I shall move forward.β
βWhen everything is organised, I shall execute.β
Reality, however, rarely operates in this manner.
Most people do not build their lives after everything is ready.
They build whilst everything is still unfolding.
They learn whilst executing.
They correct whilst advancing.
They discover whilst experimenting.
For a long time, it seemed impossible to imagine someone changing a tyre whilst the vehicle was still in motion.
The idea appeared absurd, unfeasible, dangerous and irrational.
Until it became clear that, in a certain sense, this is precisely how life occurs.
No one receives the following before beginning:
On the contrary, most people:
Life rarely waits until we are ready.
It unfolds whilst we are preparing.
UrbanWatch was born under this same condition.
It did not emerge as a finished structure.
It was built whilst:
Girassol 9A likewise did not begin with a complete methodology.
It was born through movement.
Through experimentation.
Through observation.
Through discovery.
Many of the most significant discoveries emerge during the journey itself.
Not before it.
This does not imply imprudence.
It does not mean jumping without checking the safety line.
It does not mean ignoring risks.
It means understanding the difference between:
I spent a considerable part of my life waiting for the ideal moment to begin.
Then I realised that almost everyone is simply doing the best they can whilst learning.
In the end, we are all changing a tyre whilst the vehicle remains in motion.
Perhaps maturity is not the possession of all answers.
Perhaps it is the willingness to continue advancing whilst accepting that some answers will only appear along the road.
